Russia has begun evacuating residents from the border region of Belgorod following a surge in deadly Ukrainian strikes. Approximately 300 residents of Belgorod city have decided to temporarily move to accommodation centers in cities elsewhere in the region. Belgorod’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, offered help to residents concerned by the recent spate of Ukrainian attacks. The attacks started after Russia’s largest air attack on Ukraine and retaliatory strikes on Belgorod killed at least 25 people. Restoration works have begun in Belgorod, and Russia launched another wave of air strikes across Ukraine.
